Carry the day.
Tools, supplies and a second person. Useful space takes priority over bodywork.
LAND × CAR DESIGN ACADEMY 01 / 2035
A quiet electric platform.
For everything between
home and the horizon.

Home, workshop, pasture, woods. A trip into town. Life on a little more land rarely follows a straight line. The UN–CAR is designed around that day.

For the rural resident who values useful space, quiet movement and the freedom to do things their own way.
Check the property.
Carry what’s needed.
Stay a little longer.

SMALL JOURNEYS. A BIGGER WORLD.
Enough machine for the task.
Enough freedom for the rest.
Tools, supplies and a second person. Useful space takes priority over bodywork.
Electric propulsion and quiet operation as a design objective. No tailpipe exhaust at the point of use.
A low stance for local-road intent, raised clearance for rough access and a parked basecamp setup.
A visible aluminum-frame direction. Simple drained seat shells. One targa-style bar. Only the surfaces that serve the person, the load or the machine.

A forward tray keeps daily essentials in view and easy to reach.

A simple shell, drainage and a separate head-restraint pad.

A single structural idea frames the occupants and the vehicle’s identity.

Two seats with useful cargo space at both ends. Share the trip without giving up the tools, groceries or equipment that make it worthwhile.
Front tray + two seats + rear deck.
Two inboard motors keep propulsion hardware within the platform. Protected belt reductions feed front and rear differentials, with half-shafts out to the wheels.

Removable energy is integral to the platform. Two protected modules sit low in the frame, close to where their power is needed.

Protected bays, accessible retention and short power paths. Final packaging and thermal clearances require development.
A proposed side-access exchange with interlocked connectors. Lifting method depends on the selected CORE variant.
Onboard charging and a proposed deployable solar canopy. Solar contribution depends on conditions and camp demand.

Apples, honey and a morning at the market. Open cargo decks make room for the work and the people behind it.

Two seats, a clear windscreen and the quiet road between home and the next stop.

A removable canopy and clear windscreen add comfort while keeping the platform open and adaptable.

Camping gear, a cooler and the essentials, tied down on the rear deck. Park, unpack and explore together.

A proposed solar-array rainfly shelters the front cargo, both seats and rear deck, then extends outward over camp. A place to rest, recharge and stay a little longer.

An open-air run across rolling countryside. A playful side to the useful platform.

Fishing gear on the deck. A shaded stop on the pebble shore. The rest of the day belongs to the water.

Boards and plywood secured on the rear deck, with a four-legged companion beside the driver.
A proposed supervised walk-along mode carries tools beside the owner. Hold-to-run control, stop-on-release, obstacle stop and a physical emergency stop are part of the design intent.

Overall length and height, mass, power, range, payload, towing, sealing and occupant protection remain to be resolved. Board dimensions supersede the earlier presentation’s provisional width. Primary environment: private property, gravel and trails; local-road use requires a suitable regulatory pathway.
